?? Congratulations to Elandis, one of our #RealEstate subsidiaries that owns approximately $500 million of properties in the U.S. Sunbelt, on celebrating 10 years in their Miami headquarters! ?? Located at 1500 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables, the #Elandis office building is one of Miami’s prime business addresses. Constructed in 2003 and formerly a retail bank, this #colonial-style building features 6,000 sq. ft. of commercial space on two floors, which were fully refurbished for use by Elandis to return the building to its original Spanish style. Acquired in early 2012, the property is owned by sister real estate subsidiary, Sparta Properties. #Elandis was founded by Libra Group in 2009 and today, in partnership with M&G Investments, owns approximately 4,200 multifamily housing units in the U.S. Sunbelt. It is focused on affordable housing and community revitalization in growing economic areas, including Alabama, Florida, and Texas. Today, the fully renovated headquarters houses about 20 employees. Pleased to share that Sparta Properties, one of our #RealEstate subsidiaries that owns and manages a global portfolio of properties, has announced the sale of its former hospitality project in Morocco to La Sultana Hotel Group, specialists in Moroccan travel experiences. Located 14 miles from Marrakech, the expansive property includes a former luxury boutique resort previously known as Les Terres M’Barka. The property has been closed while it has been under construction for refurbishments. ?? The property enjoys views of the Atlas Mountains and is set on 1.6 million square feet of Moroccan countryside. It previously featured two main areas, including a farm and an 18-room hotel. ?? The property was purchased in 2013 as one of several hospitality investments by a former sister real estate subsidiary whose properties and historic track record were later absorbed into Sparta Properties.
