We were thrilled to be a part of the celebration of Climatetech in Massachusetts at the State House yesterday.
The Healey-Driscoll Administration recognized 28 Massachusetts-based companies featured on the TIME America's Top Greentech Companies of 2024 - including Mass Mobility Hub board member Joshua Aviv, CEO of SparkCharge. SparkCharge is revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry with their innovative mobile charging solutions, making EVs more practical and accessible for everyone.
After the recognition ceremony, we were proud to partner with the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership as well as Associated Industries of Massachusetts, Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM), The Engine Accelerator, Greentown Labs, Massachusetts Business Roundtable, Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, and NECEC to host a panel discussion moderated by MACP COO and our board's vice chair, Rebecca Davis. The panel brought together leading voices from Massachusetts' climatetech sector:
?? Joshua Aviv, CEO of SparkCharge (and board member of Mass Mobility Hub)
? Hudson Gilmer, CEO and Co-Founder of LineVision
?? Julie Bliss Mullen, CEO and Co-Founder of Aclarity
?? Shreya Dave, Co-Founder and CEO of Via Separations
The panelists shared why they chose to establish their companies in Massachusetts, highlighting the value of support from incubators like Greentown Labs, accelerators like The Engine Accelerator, economic development agencies like the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, nonprofits like NECEC, and innovation hubs like the Mass Mobility Hub!
They discussed the unique advantages of our state's ecosystem, including a strong culture of innovation and a robust network of resources - one that we are proud to be a part of. Thanks to Rebecca Davis and Massachusetts Competitive Partnership for leading a thoughtful and insightful conversation.
Together, we are driving forward the future of mobility and climatetech innovation in Massachusetts. Let's continue to lead the way!
