I know it's a bit of a slow news week, but I wanted to share some thoughts on where I see the software supply chain security space going. Also, I wanted to announce that Chainguard has just raised a $140M Series C from Redpoint, IVP, and Lightspeed to grow and scale our vision of a secure open source supply chain. I’m excited to partner with Tom Loverro, Arsham Memarzadeh, Guru Chahal, Sai Senthilkumar, and Scott Raney, as well as for all of our existing investors (Lenny Pruss, Bogomil Balkansky, Alex Pall, Clay Fisher) to participate again in this next chapter. We’ve come a long way, and I’m incredibly proud of our team and everything we’ve done. Digital payments have exploded, modern software apps generate thousands of API calls a day, and autonomous AI agents are performing more actions on behalf of users. The need for efficient transaction processing has never been greater. TigerBeetle challenges several core assumptions about OLTP databases and, in doing so, brought us back to the future — one where debits and credits are at the heart of every transaction.
