    How confident do you feel that your employees enjoy their job? According to LinkedIn’s latest Worker’s Confidence survey, American’s confidence to progress their careers has dropped to a new low. Whether this is due to their work environment or the emergence of all things digital, workers simply aren’t finding as much enjoyment and prospects in their work as they used to. If this sounds familiar to you, try a few of these tips to counteract this feeling: Start socializing. As human beings, we are social creatures. The surge of remote, hybrid, and otherwise digital work has altered how we communicate. Try to find a communication style that fits best with you to stay connected with your colleagues.? Look for the positives. Try to find joy and satisfaction in everything you do.? Embrace continuous learning and improvements. The introduction of new technology in the workplace is a learning opportunity. Take this chance to learn and adapt to this change; you may need those skills later on!? What other advice would you give to somebody who has lost confidence in their careers??

    “[The nonprofit sector is] the 3rd biggest economic driver in America. It’s time that nonprofits were front and center. That’s where they belong.” Nonprofit leaders must wear hundreds of different hats.     In the United States, there are about 1.8 million nonprofit organizations and 1.5 million 501(c)(3) organizations. These organizations employ about 11.9 million people, making it the third-largest employment industry in the country. They also generate about 5.6% of the American GDP. With all of these registered nonprofit organizations, it’s difficult to say how many of these are truly successful, or which ones fail. Many nonprofits fail within their first year, but we also know that about 20% of small businesses fail within the first year, and almost 50% fail within five years. About 1/3 of nonprofits faced potential closures during the pandemic. Similar to for-profit organizations, the main reasons nonprofits fail is because they don’t keep up with technology, they aim high without adequate planning to achieve those dreams, and most importantly, they fail to recruit the right people.
