I recently had the privilege of attending a symposium at the C.H. Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance at NYU Stern, where the conversation revolved around Construction Innovation: The Future is Mass Timber. While mass timber ??? is generally viewed as a more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative, I was impressed to learn that it's often a superior return on investment, and it's helping to shape the future of construction. I'm curious to see more real estate companies, investors, and insurance companies adopt this innovation. Thank you Schiller Projects

Paulson Center at New York University earned a Merit Award from AIA Tri-State, a regional conference that recognizes projects across AIA New York State, AIA New Jersey - The New Jersey Society of Architects, and AIA Pennsylvania. At last month's conference in Hershey, PA, KieranTimberlake projects took home 5 of the 24 awards. We're grateful to the jury for their consideration. The LEED Gold Paulson Center sets a new paradigm for multi-use university facilities. The 735,000-square-foot building is designed to optimize interactions between diverse student groups and academic disciplines. It features classrooms; performing arts theaters, teaching, and practice rooms; athletic facilities; and housing for students and faculty. ?? Mexican architect Frida Escobedo’s achievement as the first woman to design a wing at The Met is a powerful testament to persistence, vision, and breaking barriers in architecture. While Frida expands one of the world’s largest museums here in New York, Spacesmith alongside another great woman architect, Billie Tsein, is proud to be designing the interior architecture of one of the United States’ largest embassies—in Frida's native country of Mexico. On December 17th, OBO's Ambassador Will Moser,?U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar, U.S. Embassy in Mexico, and Mexican government officials gathered to dedicate the new U.S. Embassy?Mexico City. ?This milestone?event celebrates a?facility designed to support one of the United States’ most significant diplomatic missions. "This new facility will enable diplomacy, serve the U.S. and Mexican people, support our staff in the important work they do every day, and advance sustainability and resilience goals for years to come," remarked Ambassador Will Moser. It was a bittersweet last OBO trip for our beloved former Director Moser and lifelong public servant, who will retire at the end of the year.
