A quintessential college day: sun shining, quads bustling, and an inspiring tour of Brown University's new facilities on historic College Hill and the redeveloped Jewelry District. It was incredible to see how Brown University, the City of Providence, the community, planners, and architects worked in unison to drive visionary campus growth and development. ? Many thanks to all involved for making it possible, especially the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), Brown University, KieranTimberlake, William Rawn Associates, Architects, Inc., Frances Halsband, Marble Fairbanks Architects, REX Architecture, TenBerke, Ballinger, 195 District, Ayers Saint Gross, and the City of Providence.

As the interior designers for the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, it has been an incredible journey to have worked on this project since 2012. While the embassy is still under construction, it is exciting to see the Consular Section come to life during a recent press conference. This space is not just a place of function, but one that reflects the enduring relationship between the U.S. and Mexico. It's gratifying to witness a vision slowly transform into a space where diplomacy, engagement, and connection happen daily. We look forward to the final stages of completion, but today we take a moment to reflect on this achievement and the positive impact this embassy will have for years to come. OBO construction teams facilitated a press conference for U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar in the consular space of the future U.S. Embassy Mexico City. Even before its public opening, the facility is already enabling diplomacy. The new U.S. Embassy Mexico City, designed by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects + Partners and Davis Brody Bond, a Page Company and built by Caddell Construction, will be a crucial hub for engagement between the U.S. and Mexico.?The functional and resilient flagship embassy in the central Nuevo Polanco neighborhood with intentional community spaces will further develop important cross-cultural connections with our Southern neighbor. It's been an extraordinary experience working with the creative team at FOUNDRAE FINE JEWELRY over the past year and a half. Together, we’ve brought four new store locations to life, each a unique reflection of FoundRae's signature artistry and philosophy. From Dallas to Los Angeles, Madison Avenue, and now, the doors open in Miami — each store has been a true testament to thoughtful design and generative collaboration. #Architecture #RetailDesign #Foundrae #LuxuryRetail #StoreDesign #BrandCollaboration #DesignJourney #FineJewelery #Miami
FoundRae has officially landed in Miami's Design District! Our new flagship is located in The Moore, a building considered the crown jewel of Miami’s iconic Design District. As a nod to the building’s history, the FoundRae space incorporates classical elements, including an ornate, hand-painted ceiling cornice, custom wallpaper, and artisanal hand-blown glass sconces, which are signature brand tenets such as Dream, Karma, and Wholeness. "We approach the design of our stores the same way we approach the design of our jewelry collections: inspired by historical references and time-honored artisanal techniques... I hope the store design makes people feel connected to a past legacy, but also inspires them to go forth and shape their own futures.” - Founder & Creative Director, Beth Hutchens. The seal for the Miami flagship features a shell, which will also grace jewelry designs exclusively available at this location.
