The Southside, Ward 6, the community, activists, freedom fighters and all of those who loved and worked alongside Demetrius Young For Ward 6 City Commissioner Demetrius Young are invited to celebrate his birthday and life at a Community Vigil, held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 5 PM at the Mary Young Cummings Park in Albany, Georgia. We will reflect on his life, share stories and comfort each other. This is an outdoor event, so please prepare for the chilly weather. We look forward to being in community with you.
