Coffee roasting is a craft, but for too long, the physical demands of the process have posed significant challenges to roasters. At Black and White Coffee Roasters, these challenges came to the forefront. As Co-Founder Kyle Ramage explained. "So we're like, okay, cool. This is a problem because we feel like some of our best roasters don’t fit that body type. How do we design a system that doesn’t require physical strength or immense physical strength as part of the deal?" Six years ago, I walked into my first trade show with SōVDA at COTECA in Hamburg, Germany.
