Meet Chuck Brown! ? Chuck has been part of the SMB Trust Services team for seven years, and has assisted many customers with their legacy planning! He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1984, was in private practice with a local firm for 30 years, served as a Joplin City Judge for 14 years, and has been an instrumental part of Joplin for decades. He’s a 40-year member of Joplin Kiwanis, a Board Member of the Joplin Humane Society, Vice President of the Southwest Missouri Estate Planning Council, two-time President of Joplin Area United Way, past President of the Jasper County Bar Association, past President of Joplin Regional Community Foundation, and a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. His dedication to our community mirrors his dedication to his Trust customers in planning their estate. ? Meet Alaya Kitch! Alaya has been part of the SMB team for seven years and is the Assistant Branch Manager at our 32nd & McClelland location. As a heart failure survivor herself, Alaya gives back to our community by serving on the Four States Heart Walk Committee. The committee organizes an annual heart walk to raise money for the American Heart Association. Outside of the bank, you can find her spending time with her husband and three boys.
