Last Thursday, we kicked off the year with our first East End Works Committee meeting, full of ideas and a shared vision for workforce development in the East End. A big thank you to our host Jacqueline Young and Port Houston! ? We revisited our core pillars: Job Opportunities, Skill/Training Programs, Job Seekers, and Apprenticeships/Internships, and added a new, crucial pillar: Career Exploration, to meet today’s workforce and educational needs.
