This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, engaging with the community, and being part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment. ?? Location: Hamburg Moose Lodge, 45 Church St., Hamburg, NY ? Hours: Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Rain or Shine) Key Responsibilities: - Set-up & tear-down of market signage, parking cones, and Chamber materials - Staffing the Chamber tent, answering vendor and visitor inquiries - Assisting with traffic flow and market operations - Supporting the Market Manager with various tasks as needed Qualifications: ? Ability to lift 25 lbs. ? Must be 16 years or older ? After a decade of service, Southtowns Regional Chamber Director steps down ????????? Hamburg, NY – After more than a decade of dedicated service, Jamie Decker, Executive Director of The Southtowns Regional Chamber of Commerce is stepping down to take on a new opportunity in the Chautauqua County region, where she is relocating. ? Decker expressed, "Leaving the Chamber is bittersweet because this isn’t just a job; it’s a lifestyle and it’s been my life for the last ten years. I am moving onto a new chapter in my life, and it’s time for someone with fresh ideas to continue the important work the Chamber does for the local economy and the quality of life in the Southtowns. I believe the person in this role should be an integral part of the fabric of the communities they serve. I will always be grateful for the experiences and relationships I've built over the past ten years with many dedicated business owners and community leaders." ? Throughout the years, the Chamber has faced various challenges, much like any other small business or nonprofit organization. "It takes dedication and perseverance to mentor fellow businesses in best practices, foster community engagement, and promote growth no matter the economic environment we encounter.
