This isn’t nearly as fun as National Pizza Day or National Kitten Day, but what it lacks in fun it makes up for in importance. Today is National Get Ready for Flu Day, and thanks to our clinic teams, every SouthStar Urgent Care clinic is ready to help patients by testing and treating Flu A and Flu B.? ? We’ve made many wise investments in our clinics over the past few years, but one of the best things we’ve done was to bring rapid molecular testing for Flu A, Flu B, COVID-19 and RSV in-house. These tests are far more accurate than at-home tests and we estimate that thanks to early detection, they’ve helped arrest the progression of symptoms for many patients.? ?
