We'd like to thank Southside Bank team member Brynner Nkala for serving our country. ???? Brynner recalls his time in the U.S. Army, “As I stood waist deep in a swamp at sunset during a failed land navigation exercise, I questioned what had brought me to that moment. I glanced over my right shoulder and saw the flag with stars and stripes and was reminded exactly why I was there. That moment reinforced the idea that what we do in such times has a lasting impact. Not only does it secure the rights and freedoms of people here at home, but also inspires hope in parts of the world where belief in democracy, freedom, and equality has been lost.” We’d like to thank Brynner and all our U.S. Veterans today. We recognize your service and are thankful for your sacrifice. Read Brynner's full story at southside.com/brynner. In observance of Veterans Day, all traditional and drive-thru branches will be closed. All grocery store locations will be open 10 am-4 pm. Customer Care and ATMs will be open 9 am-4 pm. Member FDIC
