Project Update: Performance Precast Performance Precast office building is well underway! Footings and Foundations have been poured. Underground plumbing and electrical have been installed. Concrete slab has been formed and stone base has been set. Daniel Kellough, our Health & Safety Manager, traveled to the Scaffold Training Institute in League City, Texas to attend a week-long scaffolding training course. This will allow him to understand and educate workers on all Southside job sites to make scaffolding usage safer. Additionally, he can provide training and classes for anyone who uses scaffolding. Project Update: Holy Angels Site work operations are continuing to progress at the Holy Angels Campus Expansion project in Belmont, NC! The storm drainage system has been installed, mass grading is ongoing, and building pads are being established. Currently, 3 of the 4 building pads are complete and ready for foundations to commence! At Southside, we actively participate in community engagement initiatives to improve our community. Daniel Kellough, our Health & Safety Manager, was one of the judges for the "Marketing" and "Sports and Event Marketing" honors classes presentations. In this class, Students were in charge of marketing one product of their choice and presented their marketing strategy to determine if their product would be accepted for funding.
