Dedham Savings and South Shore Bank are pleased to announce Edward Seksay has been appointed as General Counsel for the Mutual Holding Company of Dedham Savings and South Shore Bank. ? Ed brings a wealth of experience within the financial sector, including the areas of New Markets Tax Credit Programs and community development lending, which equips him to assist the Holding Company and its Banks with further initiatives in these areas. ? In this role, Ed will advise the Boards, CEOs, and senior leadership team on legal matters. He will also develop and implement the legal strategy to support the organizations’ business plans, ensuring compliance with regulations while offering strategic legal guidance to support the Banks growth strategy. ? ?"As the affiliation between Dedham Savings and South Shore Bank advances, we believed it was the right time to appoint our own General Counsel to support our needs during this significant period of opportunity and growth, " said Peter Brown, President & CEO of Dedham Savings and Chairman & CEO of the Mutual Holding Company. ? Ed served as a Trustee of the Boston Bar Foundation from 2018 until 2024 and is a member of the BBF Society of Fellows. He was the Founding Chair of the American Bankers Association Regional Banks General Counsels Group.
