Southland Transportation operates 53 foot dry vans equipped with QUALCOMM Satellite communications. Southland has the equipment and drivers to dedicate to large accounts and full service brokerage to handle all your transportation needs. Southland Transportation Co was established in Dobson, North Carolina. The company began with 3 company trucks and one owner operator. Building on relationships established after years in the industry, Southland was able to begin operations by delivering auto parts from North Carolina to Ford and Chrysler automotive plants and returning with coil steel. From there, the business quickly expanded by adding owner operators and serving more of the automotive industry. We now serve a variety of customer segments each month across the lower 48 states and Ontario, Canada.

Donald Maines, one of our Shop Technicans has just delivered a trailer to Northwest Guilford High School to aid in Hurricane Helena relief efforts. Northwest Guilford and The Summit Church of Oak Ridge, NC, are teaming up to fill Southlands trailer with essential supplies by the end of the weekend. Our Boonville terminal is a drop-off location for donations as well. Southland has committed to delivering a load a day to various locations in Western NC, in cooperation with state agencies, for as long as they are needed. Let’s come together to support those in need during this challenging time. Your generosity can bring hope and relief to those affected by the hurricane. Thank you for your kindness and support!
