Southland Transportation specializes in delivering. With late model equipment and extensively trained drivers, Southland offers 24/7 dispatch coverage and spotted trailers. Southland Transportation operates 53 foot dry vans equipped with QUALCOMM Satellite communications. Southland has the equipment and drivers to dedicate to large accounts and full service brokerage to handle all your transportation needs.
Southland Transportation Co was established in Dobson, North Carolina. The company began with 3 company trucks and one owner operator. Building on relationships established after years in the industry, Southland was able to begin operations by delivering auto parts from North Carolina to Ford and Chrysler automotive plants and returning with coil steel. From there, the business quickly expanded by adding owner operators and serving more of the automotive industry. We now serve a variety of customer segments each month across the lower 48 states and Ontario, Canada.
