Impacting lives is at the heart of everything we do, and our team is all about lifting others up. Swipe to see some of the recent highlights from our efforts. 1-3: We were proud to accept a Raise the Roof award from Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity for the bank’s relationship and partnership with the nonprofit. 4: At the Richland County Sheriff's Department, over a third of their force is made up of veterans. To honor them on Veterans Day, Southern First sponsored the purchase of special license plates to go on the vehicles of those 200 veterans who now serve as sheriff's deputies. 5-6: Our Greenville team donated close to 750 gallons bottled water and delivered it to our friends at HomeTrust Bank in Asheville, NC, who are still without water and navigating other effects of Hurricane Helene. 7-8: CHRO Silvia King spoke on a panel at the South Carolina Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Conference, sharing lessons she's learned during her leadership journey. 9: Southern First was happy to sponsor the Barbara Stone Foundation's Greenville CAN (Collaborative Action Network) Talks, an event where local individuals with disabilities, who are flourishing in our community share their stories from their perspectives in order to challenge the status quo.
