Unified Resources is going vertical! Unified Resources in Display (Unified Resources), an innovative retail and merchandising agency, held a Tilt-Up Ceremony this morning with Omega Construction, Inc. as the first wall panel of their new facility was erected by crane. Unified Resources announced plans in September to establish the company's first South Carolina operation in Jasper County. The company's $14 million investment will create 143 new jobs. Unified Resources is relocating manufacturing operations from New Jersey to a 105,000-square-foot facility in the Hardeeville Commerce Park located at 690 Mockingbird Drive in Hardeeville. SCA was pleased to attend the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Hardee Greens, LLC's facility in Jasper County yesterday. Hardee Greens, a startup indoor, vertical farm company, announced plans in 2022 to establish operations in Hardeeville, investing $1.3 million and creating 24 new jobs. Congratulations to our friends Jennifer and Roel and the entire Hardee Greens team! Hardee Greens vertically grows pesticide-free and herbicide-free microgreens and produce. Their products can be found at a variety of places within the SCA region, including the Hardeeville and Bluffton Farmer's Markets, Palmetto Bluff Farm, Fresh Market and Cafe, as well as several local restaurants including Nectar, Saltus River Grill, and Poseidon. Healthcare continues to grow in the SCA region! Hampton Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the construction of a new addition to the hospital, an Emergency Department expansion. This expansion will add 5,731 square-feet of space to the existing structure, triage space, and 12 new exam rooms. It's a great day in the SCA region! NorthPoint Development in partnership with CrossHarbor Capital Partners today celebrated the groundbreaking on an 880-acre economic development site in Hardeeville that will accommodate up to 6M square-feet of warehouse and industrial space. Phase I of the project represents $200M in capital investment and will generate more than 550 jobs at full buildout.
