The SGWS Northern California Human Resources team hosted its second annual Career Day. Employees seeking career growth opportunities were able to learn about potential career paths within the organization and speak with leaders from various departments. John Landry, Executive Vice President & General Manager, in California, shared insights from his extensive career in the beverage alcohol industry and emphasized the significance of taking risks and embracing various roles within the organization, while Steve Lee, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Northern California, highlighted the importance of networking and fostering meaningful connections within the Company. The HR team offered employees free headshots, provided feedback on resumes, and access to development opportunities through internal programs. Additionally, there was a canned food drive that resulted in donating 150 pounds of nonperishable supplies to the Alameda County Community Food Bank.
