One of the most asked questions we get is "I thought using mercury was banned? The answer is yes for domestic use BUT... while regulations limit mercury use in many products, UV lamps are exempt due to their unique industry benefits. Mercury is widely used in UV lamps for curing, bonding and costing systems. Alpha-Cure lamps only use tiny amounts of mercury and are safe under normal conditions.
