Since 1962, Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. (SIC) has been safely and cost effectively providing industrial construction services to the manufacturing, process and power industries on a turnkey and stand-alone basis for over six decades all over the Carolinas and the Southeast. For select installation projects at process and manufacturing plants, as well as for plant relocations and consolidations, SIC follows its customers all over the United States. SIC employs over 2,275 skilled project managers, field superintendents, craftsmen, equipment operators, estimators, engineers, administrators and safety professionals, and has performed jobs ranging in size from $500 to $75 million. With ten office locations across the Southeast, SIC performs everything from small day jobs to installing, maintaining and moving entire plants, including all related crafts on a turnkey basis. In addition, Cherokee Millwright, an SIC affiliate, provides millwright, mechanical and automation services to clients in Tennessee and across the Southeast. SIC believes that by working together safely, we will deliver safe, high-quality, on-schedule, cost-effective projects.

We held a one-day leadership training course at a large project site in Kansas. We had more than 45 field professionals attend this course, which focused on leadership skills such as communication, delegation, the EMCOR Core Values, emotional intelligence, and the tools and support available for our teams. Our team, alongside our sister companies PPM and Cherokee Millwright, worked together to provide relief efforts to those affected by Hurricane Helene. Along with PPM, we recently welcomed our newest cohort of sixteen summer interns. Their first day consisted of a team building ropes course at Tree Runner Adventure Park, followed by supervisor training at our Departure Drive facility.
