We hosted our 3rd annual Eagle Awards and Christmas celebration yesterday afternoon. Our guest of honor this year was the 37th Commandant of the Marine Corps, retired 4 Star General Robert "Bob" Neller. He was gracious enough to thank our local Marine Corps Toys for Tots volunteers for their service (first photo below). SESS filled 5 boxes on their first Toys for Tots drive, and we are already excited about breaking that record next year. General Neller also shared inspirational stories from his distinguished 44-year career as a Marine, and everyone was captivated. A very special thanks to General Neller for sharing his time and story with us. Our Eagles were recognized for their service with over 70 awards given. We had drinks, food, raffles, music, and much more. Southern Eagle is pleased to announce that Zach Hollebone has been promoted to Account Manager. Zach started his career with Southern Eagle as a Fuel Jockey in 2021. He was promoted to Relief Account Manager early in 2024, where his positive attitude and hustle proved to make him a favorite with co-workers and customers alike. Zach’s hobbies include playing pickleball, running, and shooting pool. He also enjoys going to festivals, fairs, and sporting events, especially Saints and Pelicans games. Zach’s favorite Southern Eagle beverage is a cold, refreshing Mango Cart. Congratulations and Cheers! ??
We are pleased to announce that Joe Soileau has been promoted to Ops Receiving & Inventory Team Leader. Joe joined Southern Eagle in 2021 as part of the Operations Department. Joe's positive attitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills have been instrumental in securing his new role. When Joe isn't working, he enjoys fishing, golf, digital graphic design, working in his print shop and spending time with his family. Joe's favorite Southern Eagle beverage is a nice, cold Estrella.
