This global initiative is dedicated to developing and deploying open AI models specifically designed for the power sector, aiming to drive innovation, reduce operating costs, and enhance the energy customer experience.     When Winter Storm Cora hit, Georgia Power’s Aubree and her father, Mike, worked together to restore power. Mike, a retiree and now contractor, found himself reporting directly to his daughter. Aubree grew up spending time at the Georgia Power Cornelia office, following in her dad’s footsteps to become an engineer. Their unique story highlights the dedication and legacy of our teammates across our family of companies. We're happy to report, their bond grew stronger as they worked side-by-side to restore power and serve our communities.

But did you know that Georgia Power operates a battery energy storage facility connected directly to the grid near Columbus????
