Last week, we hosted two incredible events in Little Rock and Kansas City, sharing important research on Black women entrepreneurs' experiences in both cities. Supported by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, this research uncovered insights into challenges accessing multiple types of capital, along with opportunities they found through local connections and programs. The event brought ecosystem stakeholders, support organizations, and entrepreneurs together to discuss strategies for a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem. The collaborative spirit in the room was inspiring, paving the way for meaningful change in our communities. A big thank you to Dell Gines and Dr. Kristy Carter for their dedication to this work. It was an honor to collaborate with such experts on entrepreneurial ecosystems for this vital research. Stay tuned for the final report! #Entrepreneurship #BlackWomenEntrepreneurs #InclusiveEconomy #ImpactResearch #LittleRock #KansasCity #ESOEcosystem #EcosystemBuilding #EconomicDevelopment #WomenOwned
