The Southern Automotive Manufacturers Alliance (SAMA) was formed on April 18, 2017 as an advisory council with respect to regional automotive-related issues. This organization consists of the state automotive manufacturing organizations of Alabama (AAMA), Georgia (GAMA), Mississippi (MAMA), and Tennessee (TAMA) as well as the Southern Automotive Women's Forum (SAWF), the South Carolina Automotive Council, and the Kentucky automotive Industry Association. These organizations share the common goal of wanting to strengthen the automotive industry within our region in a coordinated way and work together to create new and exciting opportunities for the industry throughout the Southeast.
