The NCSEA team had the opportunity to tour Edenton, NC's Timbermill Wind project earlier this fall alongside legislators and other clean energy friends. The wind project, which is expected to begin operations in 2025, will have a capacity of up to 189 MW, producing enough energy to power as many as 47,000 homes every year! The project promises to bring sustained tax revenue to the county for local governments and schools, as well as 30 years of local purchasing, employment, and investment.
