Junior Controller/Customer Service Candidate We’re seeking a motivated individual to oversee all the activities related to accounting and finance, for a start-up company based in Orlando and part of a Multi-international Group. This company is the global leader in its business segment. The ideal candidate will have an accounting or finance degree. Experience as an account will be a plus. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. This individual will produce thorough financial status reports for senior managers to help improve our operational efficiency in support of our continued growth. This position can lead to earning the position of controller. Objectives of this role Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points. Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to the current economic landscape. Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial controls and guidelines. Communicate with the HQ in Italy and provide timely reporting monthly. Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies. Provide customer service to our much-valued business partners in the southeast US. Responsibilities Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures. Establish (In coordination with HQ) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, and programs. monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis. Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation. Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows. Required skills and qualifications Professional accounting experience is a plus. However, we are prepared to train an exemplary candidate for this position with an accounting or finance degree. Understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis. Willing to learn and adapt to a fast-growing and changing company. Experience in managing and streamlining accounting processes.
