Our Operating Partner Mike Brady represented Southeast Acquisition Capital at Ownership Works' 2024 Shared Ownership CEO & Executive Convening last week. The event brought together leading private equity firms, investors, and executives to discuss implementing Employee Ownership across their portfolios. We are honored that Southeast was recognized among the 20 or so innovative private equity firms that have made Employee Ownership the cornerstone of value creation and impact. For now, we are happy to leverage this early leadership in Employee Ownership to differentiate Southeast among buyers in the increasingly competitive lower middle market. We estimate there are fewer than 2 million employee owners at privately held businesses in the United States.
