The physical work of moving a designated state highway from several densely populated Covington neighborhoods is underway. ... The change will move Ky. 17 from Scott and Greenup to Madison Avenue, improving safety in front of houses and multi-family apartment buildings in the Eastside, Helentown, Austinburg, and Wallace Woods neighborhoods. And yes, it will mean resurfacing large stretches of the three streets (while a separate project will resurface Madison all the way to Latonia Avenue). https://bit.ly/3FDaWB0

Covington has introduced digital wayfinding kiosks to assist residents and visitors in navigating the city. These kiosks are part of a pilot program developed collaboratively by meetNKY, the City of Covington, Durham Brands, RoveIQ, Southbank Partners, and the Covington Business Council.
