Gosnold Family Support group meets at the SSPR Recovery Center & on zoom Sundays at 11am! Addiction is a complex disease that affects not just the individual but their entire family. That's why family support groups are so important. By connecting with others who are going through similar experiences, we can provide a network of support and resources for one another.

Group is open to all. Thursday March 13th 1-3pm Join us for a facilitated lesson and learn a new way to explore the creative side of recovery. Guest Artist Jane Norton will be focusing on watercolors. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Jane Norton began her career designing activity sets, greeting cards, stationery, and giftware. For over 20 years, she has worked independently as a graphic designer and illustrator while also sharing her expertise through teaching. Passionate about creativity, Jane encourages students of all ages to explore new artistic avenues and discover their creative potential.

Recovery Acupuncture meets at the Recovery Center on Wednesdays at 6pm. All are welcome! At Recovery Acupuncture, the NADA protocol is used. NADA involves the gentle placement of up to five small, sterilized disposable needles into specific sites on each ear. The recipients sit quietly in a group setting for 30-45 minutes allowing the treatment to take effect. Benefits include: - Reduced cravings for alcohol and drugs, including nicotine - Minimized withdrawal symptoms - Increased calmness, better sleep, and less agitation - Relief from stress and emotional trauma - An easier connection with counseling - A discovery of inner quiet and strength

Breath, Stretch, Drum… Learn basics to become confident with drum. Participants are encouraged to move beyond what is taught and reach for their own rhythm. This group will offer practical tools to improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and support your loved one while prioritizing your own well-being. Whether you're new to this journey or looking to deepen your understanding, you’ll find a compassionate space to connect, learn, and grow. Family First Fridays will be facilitated by SSPR Staff and focus on evidence-based practices and principles such as those found in C.R.A.F.T. (Community Reinforcement and Family Training), the Beyond Addiction Book, and more.
