Today, our 4th and 5th graders from Olalla Elementary had the incredible opportunity to release Chum Salmon into Olalla Creek! This hands-on learning experience is part of their science curriculum, teaching students about the salmon life cycle, local ecosystems, and the importance of conservation. ???? Celebrate CTE Month! Video Technology For students interested in the dynamic world of media, South Kitsap High School offers a robust pathway in Arts & Communication through Video and TV Production. Students can explore fields like advertising, broadcasting, journalism, and visual design through courses like Video Communications, Professional Video Production, and Video Production Management. These hands-on classes immerse students in every aspect of mass media creation, from planning and scriptwriting to videography, editing, and special effects. Our students’ work is showcased daily through WTV school announcements and on SKTV, which broadcasts events like concerts and athletic competitions.
