Every year, the American Association of Blacks in Energy (National Office) (AABE) awards over $350K in scholarships to high school seniors interested in pursuing higher education in the STEM field. Today, on National Gas Utility Workers’ Day, we’re proud to recognize our employees whose diligence and expertise help drive our vision forward and ensure we maintain our commitment to delivering safe, reliable, affordable energy. Last Thursday, our Elizabethtown Gas Customer Outreach team attended the Utility Assistance Forum at Maple Tree Senior Center in Township Of Woodbridge, presented by the NJUA - New Jersey Utilities Association. Representatives from local utilities provided seniors with utility assistance information, including cost-saving programs to reduce utility bills. The event was also attended by The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, New Jersey SHARES, Inc., and local officials. Daisy Trocan

Last week, we proudly unveiled the newly renovated Elizabethtown Gas headquarters location with a grand reopening and ribbon cutting ceremony. Additionally, we also commemorated Employee Appreciation Day, Natural Gas Utility Workers Day, and Elizabethtown Gas’ recent #1 ranking in the J.D. Power 2024 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study for the tenth year in a row. The celebration included a luncheon, giveaways, and a tour of the facility. A special thank you to everyone involved in making this a successful project and to our employees for continuing to contribute to a culture of excellence!

This week, Elizabethtown Gas (ETG) hosted an event highlighting the successful implementation of an energy-efficiency program to help community business owners and organizations upgrade to high-efficiency solutions, reduce energy usage, and save money. The tour, which took place at The Stockton Inn, showcased the facility's energy efficiency upgrades after it recently underwent significant renovations. The upgrades, which included modernizing equipment, were part of Elizabethtown Gas’ Direct Install Energy Efficiency Program.
