South Florida Homeschool Resource Center, SFLHRC, is a central hub and social network for our regional homeschooling community, both students and parents, spanning across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. At SFLHRC, we provide our families with a warm, welcoming community that represents a range of ethnic backgrounds, nationalities, languages spoken, races, religious beliefs, political affiliations, as well as homeschooling philosophies.   • South Florida Homeschool Resource Center is growing AGAIN! Join our MICROSCHOOL staff! . ??Are you a teacher that thinks outside the box? ??Are you a teacher that loves project-based learning? ??Are you a teacher that loves to create their own unique multi-disciplinary units? ??Are you a teacher that understands neurodivergent kids and differentiated learning? ??Are you a teacher who truly just wants to teach – without all the other stuff that public school asks you to do. . These positions begin mid-August 2025 and run through mid-May 2026. We are beginning the interview process in late January 2025. . Elementary Math Teacher – 4 days / week – Mornings – 9:00 am – 10:30 am Middle School Math Teacher – 4 days / week – Mornings – 9:00 am – 11:00/11:30 am (ish – TBD) High School Math Teacher – 4 days / week – Mornings – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm High School Math Teacher MUST be well versed to tutor / assist students in Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Trig. High School Science Teacher – 4 days / week – Mornings – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm High School Science Teacher MUST be well versed to teach/tutor in Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry. . This is a FULL YEAR position from mid-August through mid-May. For the most part, we follow Broward County Public Schools with a few extra days off. . ?? SFLHRC is located in Sunrise, FL (by IKEA). ??These positions are IN PERSON positions only (no virtual). ??Experience with homeschoolers is required. ??Experience with the neurodivergent population is preferred. ??SFLHRC prefers to have a certified teacher; however, not required. ??SFLHRC prefers to have a teacher with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. This is an ideal position for a math tutors who want morning hours, homeschooling mother/father, retired teacher, teacher who wants to be semi-retired, teacher who wants more flexibility in their life, or teacher on a leave of absence.
