??♂??? Mud, Miles, and Team Spirit! ?? Yesterday, some of the Three Forts Challenge Team braved the hills to put the 5 Mile Trail Run through its paces. Starting and finishing at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre, it was a day full of: ?? Laughter ?? Plenty of mud ?? Windy South Downs trails ?? And the stunning views that make it all worth it! It wasn’t just about testing the trail - it was a brilliant chance for us to come together as a team, share a few laughs (and maybe a slip or two in the mud!), and get even more excited for 4th May 2025. Last week, our Fitness Advisors and Personal Trainers had an excellent staff training session with Chris Smith from?Inspace Fitness. They learnt all about our state-of-the-art Inspace Fitness equipment available in our five gyms, as well as best practices for using the machines and more. Thank you, Chris! ? Today, some of the talented members of our South Downs Leisure staff choir have been recording a Christmas carol – and it’s sounding fantastic! ??? Our staff choir meets every Tuesday, and it’s not just about singing; it’s about wellbeing, connection, and joy. Here’s why we love it: Mental Health Boost: Singing is proven to reduce stress, improve mood, and create a sense of calm. Team Building: Harmonising isn’t just for melodies; it brings us closer as colleagues, strengthening our sense of teamwork and collaboration. Confidence Growth: Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just starting, stepping out of your comfort zone builds confidence that flows into other areas of life. Morale Lift: There’s nothing like music to lift spirits and remind us of the joy in working together. As we gear up for the festive season, this special project is a wonderful reminder of the power of community and creativity.
