Front Office Spotlight: Marissa Dunbar Today, Stingrays Account Executive Marissa Dunbar, MBA visited Camp Ultraviolet to teach young female athletes the importance of confidence and determination in the sport of hockey. Marissa played hockey at the NCAA level, serving as an Assistant Captain for her team, before joining the Stingrays front office. Camp Ultraviolet is a week-long camp for females that focuses on teaching girls how to set goals and work both independently and as a team to achieve them. "It wasn't always easy playing a male-dominated sport, but I loved playing hockey and never quit. That led to me playing college hockey and working for the Stingrays!" - Marissa Dunbar

Today we held our 2023-24 season off-site meeting to recap an incredible season! Going over this past year, we’re excited to begin planning our fan experience and promotional nights. We’re looking forward to a great 2024-25 season!

Little Rays ?? Big Rays Throughout the 2023-24 season, Stingrays players volunteered their time at over 30 different youth hockey practices. They worked with young athletes ages 5-13 in an effort to grow the game of hockey in Charleston! ??

The Stingrays are excited to announce that Austin Magera has been named the 2023-24 ECHL Rookie of the Year! Magera, who?was also named to the ECHL Inc.?All-Rookie Team and the All-ECHL Second Team last week, is the third Stingray to win this award. Magera?finished the 2023-24 season second among ECHL rookies in points (74), fourth in goals (29), and third in assists (45). Magera finished ninth overall in the ECHL in points this season (74).

The South Carolina Stingrays are proud to announce that forward Jack Adams has won the 2024 ECHL Community Service Award! This marks the second year in a row that a Stingrays player has earned this recognition and it is the first time in ECHL Inc. history that a player from the same team has been selected for the award in back-to-back seasons.
