The LOOP in Greenville hosted its second education event, aptly titled “Fun & Fitness.” Bailey King of HISTURN MINISTRIES INC?and Jenn Mair of Whole Fitness joined us to engage young girls in soccer skills, a drumstick workout routine, a cool-down, and a devotion about how our bodies are God’s temple and how to care for them—mind, body, and soul. Members brought after-school snacks for kids and created beautiful cards to share with ladies at Miracle Hill Ministries, Inc.'s Renewal Program. The LOOP is an initiative of Circle 555 for girls in grades 1 – 12 that seeks to instill the joy of giving in their hearts. Membership is a donation of $5.55 and is matched by Circle 555. At the end of the season, members vote on a ministry to receive a grant. Circle 555 in Greenville, Spartanburg, York County, and the Grand Strand have active LOOP chapters. When the founders established South Carolina Christian Foundation in 1997, it was David who completed the paperwork and personally delivered the forms to the SC Secretary of State.?His efforts at that time allowed SCCF to begin the work and ministry of Discipling Hearts and Defining Stewardship. Twenty years later, David Holliday joined our staff as Director of Finance and Information Management, overseeing our financial processes and improving our services to?clients and?communities.?We literally would not be where we are without David's work. Every day, David exhibits his heart of compassion and uses his financial acumen and process-oriented approach to improve SCCF! Happy work anniversary, David!

Circle 555 Spartanburg recently held its Fall Education Gathering, welcoming three ministries close to Circle members for many years. Members and their guests heard from PS I Love You Ministries, which hosted the event, HOPE REMAINS YOUTH RANCH INC., and SIDEWALK HOPE. Each ministry leader shared the story of their journey, describing how they began and how God has guided them through years of service. They expressed deep gratitude for the love and support from Circle 555 members, calling it a tremendous blessing. The leaders reminded everyone that the work is far from finished and encouraged members to keep standing in the gap—especially through prayer! Circle 555, a special initiative of SCCF, unites Christian women to give collectively to ministries that serve women, children, and families and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
