In addition, the Center helps secure ongoing financial support and statewide partnerships and serves as a resource for practitioners and a voice for fathers. The new homeowner, Jason, a single father, has been volunteering with Habitat on previous builds and successfully completed the home ownership program with HFH. BUILDING A HOME The Center is pleased to participate in a new Habitat for Humanity International build in the Midlands for a dad named Jason. Today, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners gathered around Jason to drive in the "first nail" of his new Habitat home. Center president Karriem Edwards spoke about this wonderful opportunity for Jason to become a homeowner and provide a warm, loving place for his family.
