It was a great day at SALP! Alongside the Mobile Chamber, Mobile County, Alabama, and the City of Mobile, AL we were excited to cut the ribbon on new facilities for Simpson Strong-Tie and VEYER. They're bringing new jobs and new investment into our community, and taking advantage of the growth at the Port of Mobile and SALP's unmatched size and proximity to the container terminal. We also announced that we're now starting construction on our next facility, 185,000 square feet, at SALP. Big things ahead for Mobile and our great state! https://lnkd.in/eRsa6X8m

Mobile is taking off! ??
Today we celebrate nine years since Airbus began producing commercial aircraft in the United States. As you can see, how it's going today looks very different from how it started nine years ago. Nine years ago we were inaugurating our brand-new A320 assembly line. We had a few hundred employees. We were excited to get to work and had great ambitions but couldn't have predicted our U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama would be what it is today. Now, with thousands of employees, two assembly lines and a third entering into service next year, our growth is truly unprecedented. This did not happen by coincidence. Our employees — through hard work and grit — are the foundation of our success. Each one of our team members is a critical piece of our growth story here in Mobile. While there is still work to do and the story of our growth is not yet finished, without each of you, it'd never be complete. Thank you for the last nine years, Team Mobile. I remain grateful to be part of our story alongside you.
