Today, the EU Parliament voted on 9 amendments to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), approving 8 of them. What does this mean for companies? Companies must take advantage of the 12-month delay to ensure their supply chains are fully compliant with the regulation. This is an opportunity to not only pre-screen suppliers for deforestation risk but also for legality, in line with the latest Implementation Guidance from the EU Commission. In our latest blog post, Sourcemap's in-house policy team provides an overview of the approved amendments and an updated timeline as trilogue negotiations resume Read more: https://hubs.ly/Q02Yg-vC0
