SoundSafe.ai stands with the TRAIN Act The Transparency and Responsibility for Artificial Intelligence Networks (TRAIN) Act is a landmark piece of legislation that aims to bring much-needed transparency to the field of AI development. The TRAIN Act aims to protect the rights of copyright holders by requiring AI developers to disclose the copyrighted materials used to train their models. It empowers copyright holders to investigate potential unauthorized use by subpoenaing AI developers for information about their training data. A "good faith belief" that their work was used without permission is all that's needed for copyright holders to obtain a subpoena. If developers don't comply, they could be presumed to have infringed copyright. At SoundSafe.ai, we believe that the TRAIN Act is a crucial step in the right direction, applauding its goal of promoting ethical and responsible AI development.
