We’re failing our students. With the increasing pressure to perform academically, socially, and the constant fear of gun violence around every corner, they’re experiencing higher than ever levels of stress, anxiety, and depression… …and schools are looking for a solution. ?? We can no longer sit on the sidelines as the youth and gen-z mental health crisis continues to grow, which is why we’ve chosen to tackle this issue head-on in the edtech space. ?? Why? Simple. ?? Since Columbine, more than 300k children have been traumatized by school shootings ?? Youth depression and anxiety symptoms doubled during the pandemic ?? High schoolers with significant depression symptoms are >2x as likely to drop out ?? Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people aged 10-14 ?? And on… and on… and on. Moral of the story is: our youth needs help.
