Track is coming soon. It’s not the summer we planned for but it will be a summer of progress. We have been working hard during the past few months and will kick off the season aiding Weltklasse Zurich with the LA portion of the Inspiration Games. Athletes will compete simultaneously from LA, Zurich, and Florida. How cool is that?? TheUnder Armour Sunset Tour will follow in August and we will finalize and share final dates ASAP. The team at Hoka has put Foot Locker Cross Country Championships back in the spotlight. With such a rich history in the sport, we did not take this task lightly. Last week at The Running Event in Austin was nothing short of inspiring! ?? It was an honor to present on behalf of P3R as part of the Race Roster Race Director Series, where I shared some of the best practices from our work at 4RUN2, particularly on how we’ve elevated and grown our apparel strategy. One of the biggest highlights was being challenged to think “outside the box” (literally!) by Johnny Earle Cupcakes. His approach to building a community-driven apparel brand from a small idea in Boston to the entire world was truly eye-opening. Connecting with friends and partners like Brooks Running , NEVERSECOND? , OOFOS, Sound Running, LLC, and more was invaluable. Plus, we explored new partnerships that are set to make the 2025 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon merchandise our best yet! Beyond the sessions, Austin delivered with its unique sights, sounds, and of course, incredible food. I even snuck in a visit to The University of Texas campus and its legendary football stadium. Now it’s time to bring all the creativity, lessons, and connections back to Pittsburgh. Here’s to a great 2025 ahead.

At Sound Running, we are constantly talking about leveling up. Whether it’s working outside the box to create a unique look for “Your Label” clothing or putting together the fastest 10km race in the world, we want to be better than we were yesterday. To achieve that, you need some of the sharpest minds in the business. We are honored to announce that Samantha Hanson will be joining the Sound Running team as Event and Race Director. Sam was born into US running royalty and has the sport running through her veins. Some say her first words were “Long Run”…. What we do know is that Sam has spent the majority of her life supporting and living the life of an athlete. She’s committed to using her passion to make our sport better. Sam joins Sound Running from HAWI management and will be an integral part of leading the charge towards the future of our events. Welcome to the team, Sam!
