In the third quarter of 2024, Dr. Jesse Hickland, a hospitalist with Advent Health Central Texas, was nominated by multiple departments for consistently exemplifying empathy and compassion with patients, families, and staff. His dedication to patient care and availability have made a lasting impact on our hospital community. “Dr. Hickland has been incredible to work with and a pleasure to watch as he interacts with patients,” said one his colleagues. “He takes time to sit down with patients and their families, using plain language to educate and explain their conditions. He collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the best care both inside and outside the hospital, and he is always quick to respond when nurses advocate for his patients. Dr. Hickland’s kindness and commitment to our team truly embody the values we strive to uphold.” The Serving in Excellence Award recognizes a physician or advanced practice provider who consistently exceeds service standards by delivering exceptional care. Dr. Hickland is the fourth recipient at Advent Health Central Texas, and we’re grateful for his remarkable contributions to patient care and the well-being of our team. Thank you, Dr. Hickland, for bringing better to the bedside for our patients and their loved ones! #BringingBetterToTheBedside

These results place our ACO among the top 10 percent of ACOs nationwide. This significant accomplishment underscores SLTCM’s dedication to enhancing access to high-quality care and improving health outcomes for one of the nation’s most at-risk populations: patients in long-term care and assisted living facilities.? https://bit.ly/3Z2tlh0 #Medicare #HealthcareInnovation #SharedSavings #ACOs #valuebasedcare #valuebasedmodel #transitiontovaluebasedcare #MSSP
