A sight to see. One of our favorite things to perform in demo is to create multi level shaft ways. The areas shown here were once a series of dorm rooms and gang bathrooms. The shafts that we have created will now house a new stairwell along with a new elevator. From top to bottom there are great views of the exposed brick and wood construction. Another successful project performed by one of our great Foreman Tom C and his crew. Job well done team!

Historical demo projects are some of our favorites and over in Taunton MA we have just that. Our scope consists of saw cutting and removing 1300SF of structural flooring and sub structure. The 2.5 story brick building was built in the late 1800’s. In the mid 1900’s a concrete slab was formed and poured inside to support heavier FD equipment. After we remove the slab and wood subfloor, a new steel and concrete structure will be erected to take its place. As always, we couldn’t do this without the help of our great team. Thanks to our Foreman Oscar A and Andrew F along with their crew.

It’s not always demolition. Sometimes it is a delicate dismantling and reinstalling process. Over in Wellesley we were happy to be a part of that exact process. Not only did we work hand in hand with other trades for the dismantling portion a few months back but we were also asked to be a part of the replacement. We happily accepted. Six historic columns that needed to be removed, refurbished and replaced. Check it out!

Said it before and we’ll say it again and again, we have the very best Final Cleaning team! Some of them have been with us for over a generation. It shows. Their experience over the years makes cleaning a space of over 100,000SF in only a few weeks possible. From interior and exterior glass, lab space and in between. It all shines. Thanks to our Final Cleaning G.O.A.T. Maria Martinez! Her and her team crushed this one.

We make the biggest messes… Disappear! The nature of our business is messy and we make the biggest messes on most sites BUT throughout the process and by the end, we are the ones who clean them up and make them appear as if we weren’t even there. From site to site our talented crews are the best at not only the demolition but they are equally as great at cleaning up the mess!

Downtown Back Bay. In the thick of Bostons busyness, we have a great project in the works. Dismantling and demolishing a good sized chunk of structural slab and steel. The client is revamping their entire front lobby. Going with an open concept with very high ceilings and all new high end finishes. The building will welcome people into a beautiful and updated interior design. Our operation is going smoothly thanks to one of our very best and talented Foreman Eddy M. and his equally excellent crew! Thanks to them for the hard work they do.

Another round of SOS Corp. gear. This stuff is sharp! Thanks again to the entire team at NHS Print, located in Franklin Ma. They’re the best at what they do and they are also a great group of people. That’s why we keep going back. Time to start passing out this gear!

Over on First Ave they’re making room for a few hundred additional parking spaces at the existing 8 level parking garage. The new structure will be built along side the existing. We’re tasked with mostly concrete topping slab demo at the new connectors. We’re also preparing all of the precast concrete beams and stairs for removal. Demolition of a small structure on the 8th floor will complete our scope of demo. A small crew with a great Foreman gets it done in no time. Big thanks to Sergio and the “Heavy Hitters”.

We’re busy on campus in Wellesley with 3 great projects. This particular one has a bit of everything. Selective interior remodeling to incorporate a new elevator and new finishes. On the outside we’re rigging and removing 6 decorative wood columns so that they can be restored and reinstalled. Some architectural demo, shoring, excavation and crane work. We like projects that show our team’s abilities, this one does just that.

We can’t do it all by ourselves, we need a team to get it done the right way. We’re very happy to have a great one. Having a good plan in place along with the right tools and equipment for the job, makes all the difference in the world. When you pair that with the great team of players, the work looks easy. It is anything but easy. Another great crane day in the books. Thank you team!
