The open-house-format meetings will feature a project update presentation, draft route maps, and the opportunity to talk with project team members. Refreshments will be provided. The dates and times for these meetings are: Monday, December 2 Time: 4:30–7:30 p.m. Location: Bond Hill Community Center, 1501 Elizabeth Place Tuesday, December 3 Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 4:00–7:00 p.m. Location: First-floor meeting rooms, Downtown Main Library, 800 Vine Street Wednesday, December 4 Time: 4:30–7:30 p.m. Location: College Hill Recreation Center, 5545 Belmont Avenue The BRT project, a centerpiece of the Reinventing Metro plan, is set to transform public transportation in Hamilton County by providing riders with faster, more reliable bus service along busy corridors. The BRT system will reduce travel times and ease traffic congestion. Reading Road and Hamilton Avenue were selected as the first two Metro BRT service lines in 2023, following a robust, year-long public engagement effort and a feasibility study that assessed technical factors, limitations, and opportunities along four proposed route options. The first BRT route on Reading Road is set to launch in fall 2027, followed by the Hamilton Avenue route in summer 2028.
