The recent XZ Utils debacle has been another jarring reminder of open source software risk, but for me, it was also a reminder that there's an almost limitless barrage of new "vulnerability news" that's impossible to stay on top of. As anyone in the #cybersecurity industry knows, there's an unrelenting pressure to stay informed about emerging threats, all the time. Of course that's not realistic, and it's not good for anyone's health and well being.
