Finance super heroes! That’s how I describe our finance team at Sonoma Water along with the finance staff from our water contractors. Together, we are presenting a proposed FY 25-26 water transmission budget that prioritizes investing in updating aging infrastructure while planning for the future. This is National Groundwater Awareness Week. California's 515 groundwater basins and subbasins contribute approximately 41% toward the State's total water supply. Most work occurs outdoors beginning in April and May and continues through late fall.
