?? Decarbonising our Operational Sites with Autonomous Robots At Sonnedix, we are aiming to replace fossil fuel-powered machinery, with innovative, low-carbon solutions in some of our sites. ?? Vitirovers are solar-powered, autonomous robotic mowers aimed at sustainable vegetation management. The robot moves independently, guided by an integrated GPS system, but it can also be operated manually. It is capable of mowing areas of up to one hectare within approximately ten days. Equipped with a solar panel, the robot can operate autonomously for six hours! By using this new machinery at our Lavansol M8 plant in Saint-Etienne des Sorts, we are transforming operations to support a cleaner future. ???Sonnedix reaches nearly 500 MW in renewable energy capacity in Portugal! ? We have achieved this major milestone following the acquisition of?two ready-to-build renewable energy projects in Northern Portugal. Once complete, these projects will generate enough energy to power almost 40,000?homes and avoid over 42,000 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year! ? These acquisitions build on our significant portfolio in the country, including the 150 MW Project Douro, one of our largest European projects to date, which has achieved mechanical completion this month. ? ???Having first entered into the Portuguese market in 2022, these achievements reflect our rapid growth in the country, and are a credit to the work of our brilliant #OneTeam.
