Today marks our 8th anniversary since launching on October 19, 2016 - holy moly. It’s been a long journey full of wins, gut punches, almosts, celebrations, challenges, and everything in between. The best part about it all is we’ve stuck to our mission since launch — empower artists by paying them for what they love to do and deliver an incredible experience for our customers. It’s been an honor creating and delivering over 350,000 songs. Thank you to all our customers that trust us and our Artist Community that bring your most intimate stories to life while creating soundtracks for your life’s most special moments. We do not take that lightly and treat every story with the care it deserves — these songs are not just songs, they represent so much more. To our Artist Community, thank you for riding with us. Thank you for supporting us. This was not easy but, man, is it worth it! While there is still plenty of work to do and more stories to bring to life, we’ve laid an incredible foundation to continue changing the world in a positive way through custom-crafted songs. We look forward to keeping this train rolling and will continue to fight the good fight to keep value in the music community, each artist’s skillset, and most importantly, the power of human-created music. Songfinch is hiring a Sr Software Engineer specializing in building frontend products. We're looking for a frontend engineer to join our team that builds our Experience platform. The team is responsible for building new features for our customers and artists. The role will have a big impact on the new platform we're building out - helping define the future and share best practices from your experience. Technical experience with Javascript/typescript, node, Nuxt 3 and Vue 3, Turborepo, React, Storybook, Server Side Rendering, SCSS, Chromatic, Docker, and AWS. Songfinch creates and delivers music-based products and services that fuel emotive experiences for our users. Our core product does just that - we have one of our Songfinch Artists write and record a fully custom song to celebrate the important people in our customers lives. We believe our technology amplifies human creativity rather than replacing it.
